INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

The Intensive Outpatient Program was developed to meet the ever-growing need for structured treatment in an environment of decreasing availability of treatment bed slots. Through this program clients are able to experience a structured and safe treatment setting to continue their recovery while still permitting them to pursue normal daytime activities. The Intensive Outpatient Program is ideal for men & women leaving inpatient treatment and for those who need a period of intensive structured therapy to establish an individual plan of recovery.

Participants will experience the full range of clinical services offered through our focused psychotherapy groups. Topics include, but are not limited to: Relapse Prevention; Cognitive Behavioral Approaches to Recovery; Substance Abuse Education; Application of Recovery Skills; Introduction to 12-Step Support; Drink/Drug Refusal Skills; Stress Management; Family Issues in Recovery; Double Jeopardy/Addresses of the Dually Diagnosed Client.

Clients are required to attend a minimum of three (3) AA/NA meetings per week. Clients are assigned to a primary therapist and receive individual counseling once per week. Breathalyzers and urine screens are used to reinforce recovery efforts.
